A Day at Camp
Our campers will start off their day with a group warm-up and then spend their day between Irish dance classes and extraordinary outdoor activities. In the Irish dance sessions taught by our amazing instructors, they will learn a variety of skills to help with not only their competitive dancing, but performances as well. Instructors will run drills to perfect camper's Irish dance technique as well as teaching new show steps and tricks!
When not working up a sweat in their dance shoes, our campers will participate in a variety of outdoor activities run by the highly trained Kuriakos staff. It could be an afternoon hike, hitting the bullseye at the archery course or learning how to canoe.
All meals and snacks are included and provided by the staff at Kuriakos. In the evening, dancers choose between different activities ranging from soccer in the field to Irish dance trivia! Dancers can even choose whether they want to take in another dance class, or enjoy some songs by the campfire.
Campers travel throughout the day in small groups organized by age and dance level. Each of these groups of 8-10 have a camp counselor that is responsible just for them.
