Irish Dance Fusion & Performance Instructor

Scott Doherty

Once again, we bring you another amazing Instructor focusing on Irish dance fusion with tap rhythms, show steps and performance. Scott even has his own show touring the World!

Scott started Irish dancing at the age of 6 at the O’Shea-Chaplin Academy of Irish Dance in Boston, MA. Taught by the world renowned Rita O’Shea and her daughter, Lisa Chaplin, Scott went on to win many titles, including eight New England Championships, the North American Championships, the Great Britain Championships, and most notably he became the men’s World Champion of Irish Dance in 2009. He made his professional debut in 2005 with the North American tour of Riverdance. Scott has performed with Riverdance, Michael Flatley's Lord of the Dance, Busch Gardens and countless other productions all over the world. Scott's lifelong dream of starting his own show came to life in 2014 as he co-created, choreographed, and starred in Rockin’ Road to Dublin. Most recently he also co-created and choreographed Christmas in Killarney, a new Irish Christmas musical. Scott is excited to be one of the executive directors of Colony Point Creative, a creative and production company focused on bringing entertainment around the world.

Goldeye Centre Activity Instructors

With training in a variety of outdoor sports, activities, youth instruction and safety skills, the staff of the Goldeye Centre, specialize in providing quality programming to youth camps. Goldeye staff are vetted for both criminal backround and vulnerable sector checks, and aim to teach our campers a variety of skills outside of their "Irish dance" ones.

Cara Casey-O'Loughlin & Mark O'Loughlin

Cara and Mark live in Calgary with their daughters Molly and Audrey. Outside of running a successful Irish dance school in Calgary, the pair (who met while touring with Riverdance) love to spend time in nature with their family and 85 lb. dog, Winston. Cara and Mark are excited to host Western Canada's first Irish dance Adventure Camp providing dancers from around the world a venue to create friendships, grow their Irish dance skills and increase their confidence. After the huge success of

Reels in the Rockies in previous years, Mark and Cara are looking forward to many more successful years of camp!
